Insurance broker, Glico, today paid up the claims of three Black Starlets players who suffered injuries during Ghana’s participation at the FIFA-U17 World Championship hosted by South Korea last year.

A cheque of GH ¢2,000 was paid to the Ghana Football Association by the management of Glico, a local insurance broker as payment claims for the affected players.

Abeiku Quansah, Alhassan Meisuna and Samuel Ayisi, got injured before and during the tournament that saw Ghana settling for fourth place.

Both Quansah and Meisuna played a part in the World Under-17 Championship but Ayisi missed out through injury.

The insurance broker before the tournament announced a package for the team to give the players the necessary security.
