Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom insists the squad is happy with Milovan Rajevac’s style of coaching as the Black Stars close in on preparations ahead of their opening 2010 FIFA World Cup match on Sunday.

The Black Stars struggled to shine in their first warm up game, losing 4-1 to Holland but put in an improved performance against Latvia, winning 1-0.

The first warm up game might not have gone according to plan but Inkoom, who is going into his debut World Cup says Rajevac’s methods have always achieved the desired results despite some critics tagging the Serb as too defensive.

For Inkoom, the near success at the Nations Cup in Angola where an injury hit Black Stars deployed an efficient two holding midfield formation with a lone striker did not stifle the team of any creativity.

“We have always stuck to the game plan. We are not defensive as people tend to say. Every game comes with it’s approach and once we [players] adapt to it, then I don’t think there’s any need to worry.

“He [Milovan Rajevac] is a good coach. Very experienced and lovely man. He treats us with respect and we do same. It makes working very simple and I like it” he told www.ghanafa.org.

Ghana open their Group D campaign against Serbia on June 13 before playing Australia and Germany.
