Ganiu Abass opened the scoring for Hohoe United with a calm finish just two minutes after kickoff, while Daniel Osafo made it 2-0 eight minutes later, followed by Safianu Usman’s superb strike in the 29th minute. Paul Kwame scored a consolation goal for Accra Great Olympics in stoppage time.
Akim Oda Kotoku Royals was relegated to the second tier with a 2-0 defeat at home to Koforidua Semper Fi on the final day, after losing their five consecutive matches in the league. Kelvin Takyi Owusu broke the deadlock for Koforidua Semper Fi in the 75th minute, while Desmond Duodu scored the second goal in stoppage time.
Inter Allies secured their spot in the league on the final day, seeing off Kings Palace to Division Two. Bruce Emmanuel was the hero, scoring the decisive goal for the home side in the 26th minute.
