Hearts of Oak fight back to secure draw against Le

Hearts of Oak fought back to secure a point in their First Capital Plus Premier League Week 15 away match against Ashantigold at the Len Clay Stadium on Wednesday.

Ashgold who are leading the League table got the opener from Ivorian import Didier Kore in the 30th minute but the Phobians had to dig deep to secure the equalizer in the 88th minute courtesy Emmanuel Saban Laryea as the game ended 1-1.

The midweek round of matches were the final games of the first round a s the League goes on a brief break before the second round begins.

The Miners will go into the break with a four-point gap on top of the table with Hearts of Oak still 10th on the League table with 20 points.

In Dansoman, Aduana have dropped to third on the League log after losing by a lone goal to Liberty Professionals in their match which was played at the Carl Reindoff Stadium on Wednesday.’

Charles Dwamina’s 10th minute goal was the only goal of the match as Liberty Professionals end the first round of the season at the 7th position.
