Great Olympics fight back from a goal down to defe

After 90 minutes of excitement football ,Berekum Chelsea endured a 4-2 at the hands of relegation threatened Accra Great Olympics during Wednesday’s First Capital Plus league fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Before the blast of the referee’s whistle, many had tipped the in-form Berekum Chelsea to at least earn a point in the Match day 26 tie.

However, Olympics defied all odds to secure the maximum three points at home in a scintillating fashion.

Olympics, who went down by a goal just five minutes into the match, proved why they are known as the “wonder club” to turn around the score line to a 3-1 lead in the first 45 minutes courtesy Ofoe Ofotsu,Doste Agbashie and Godwin Atram.

Chelsea’s Stephen Baffour brought hope to his side when he scored halfway through the second half to reduce the deficit to 3-2.

Olympics on the other hand, quickly re-organized themselves to increase the tally to 4-2 through Daniel Appiah and held on to the win.

After today’s game, fans of Accra Great Olympics will hope to establish a winning ran in their remaining matches to escape relegation.
