Gold Stars player Osei Kwame charged for misconduct

A player of Gold Stars, Osei Kwame has been charged on one count of misconduct in view of his clubs’s GN Bank Division One League match against Dunkwa United played on May 10, 2015.

Immediately the match ended, Osei Kwame, player of Gold stars FC rushed at the match officials and insulted the match officials and attempted to physically assault them had it not been for the efforts of the security personnel who protected the match officials in violation of the GFA Regulations.

Osei Kwame, a player of Gold Stars FC is hereby charged for a breach of Articles 56, 58, and 59 of the GFA Disciplinary Code and Articles 35(1)(a), 35(2) and 35(3)(c) of the GFA General Regulations in respect of this match.

The player is therefore required to submit his written Statement of Defence to the charge(s) on or before May 21, 2015 on or before 5pm at the GFA Secretariat or through email address to the Disciplinary Committee [email protected] failing which the Disciplinary Committee shall proceed to adjudicate the case without his Statement of Defence.

Should he choose Defence Options 3 (Personal Hearing) in his Statement of Defence, he will attend the Disciplinary Committee, Friday, May 22, 2015 at 4pm at the GFA Secretariat to answer to the charge(s), failure which the Disciplinary Committee shall proceed to adjudicate the case in his absence.
