The GFA Extraordinary Congress will come off as scheduled on Tuesday, August 18 after an Accra Fast Track High Court dismissed a case brought against the Association by Mr. John Quayson.

Mr. John Quayson who was the plaintiff in the case was seeking for the District and Regional Football Association elections to be held before the GFA Presidential elections which has been scheduled for next Tuesday.

However, according to the ruling delivered by Justice R.B. Batu on Friday morning, the plaintiff lacks the capacity to sue the GFA.

The judge also awarded a cost of GH¢8000 to be paid the GFA.
