Next month’s four-nation tournament has received corporate appeal with the Ghana Football Association managing to secure a satellite broadcast channel and an international mining firm to support the competition.

Ghana’s four-nation international tournament would be broadcast on international satellite TV network, AfriSat.

The satellite television channel has won the broadcast rights for the competition which would see host, Ghana welcome Benin, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates to the Ohene Djan Stadium – one of the match venues for the African Cup of Nations - for the four-day tourney which kicks off on November 17 and runs to November 21.

AfriSat completed the deal with the Ghana Football Association, the organisers of the competition for a fee of $175,000.

Aside the South African satellite channel, headline sponsors of the Black Stars, Gold Fields Ghana has also tagged their brand to the competition.

The mining company are one of the major sponsors of the competition after paying $130,000.

The tourney would afford Ghana coach, Claude Le Roy, the chance to see his team play and react before an expectant home crowd before the African Cup of Nations kick off on January 20 - February 10.

Ghana would round up on international engagements ahead of the African Cup of Nations with the hosting of the four-nation tournament in November.
