The International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) has opened a joint tender for the construction of one football turf pitch each in Ghana and Eswatini beginning from Tuesday, June 7 to Monday, June 27, 2022.

This is in line with FIFA’s Development Projects under the FIFA Forward programme.

The Ghana Tender is for the construction of a Regional Technical Development Center, 105m * 68m (111mx74m including run-offs) pitch in Bolgatanga, Ghana.

It would be recalled that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has already acquired and registered the land for the project (Bolga Astro Turf project), successfully submitted geological and GeoTech survey reports and a FIFA Expert has visited the site and submitted his report to FIFA on the soil condition and nature.

Potential bidders are hereby invited to submit a quotation that includes their best possible solution regarding the types of materials and techniques to be applied, taking into account local conditions and particularities to FIFA.

Bidders who like to receive Tender Specifications should contact FIFA’s Infrastructure & Environment Manager Carlos Gazapo at [email protected] (business phone +41791092583) by no later than Friday, June 10, 2022.

All complete Tenders must be submitted to FIFA on or before Monday, June 27, 2022.

The following requirements and other pertinent information must be taking into account:

1.Replies to questions submitted to FIFA in writing that relate to technical or practical matters off the project implementation will be communicated to all bidders.

2.Only quotations with complete information that are submitted to FIFA on or before the above deadline will be considered.

  1. All quotation prices must be in United States dollars.
  1. All proposals must be submitted in English.

5.Please refer to each individual project in order to ascertain whether import tax is expected to be exempted.

  1. After the assessment of the construction sites, the bidder shall take full responsibility for the entire site conditions. If the bidder is not willing to do so, the proposal should address this matter.
  1. By participating in this tender, the bidder agrees to the legal considerations outlined in the “Football Turf Tenders – Legal Considerations” document provided.
