Former Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs claimed their eighth win of the season with a commanding 4-0 victory over newly promoted Ebony FC at the Robert Mensah Park in Cape Coast. Godfred Eshun opened the scoring in the 10th minute, giving Dwarfs a slender lead at halftime. Isaac Mensah doubled the advantage a minute into the second half before Eshun completed a rapid hat-trick, netting twice in the 49th and 51st minutes. The win moves Ebusua Dwarfs to second place in Zone Two with 26 points.
Newly promoted Nsuopun Fidelity ended their two-game losing streak with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Skyy FC at the Dominase Astroturf on Sunday. The win also halted Skyy FC’s four-game winning streak. The debutants now occupy fourth place in Zone Two with 25 points after match week 14.
