Great Olympics' hopes to progressing to the last 16 of the FA Cup ended following a penalty defeat to premier league side, New Edubiase at the El-Wak Stadium, Wednesday afternoon.

The three-time Cup winners in 1975, 1983 and 1995 lost 1-3 on penalties after drawing 2-2 in normal time with Edubiase.

New Edubiase, thus progress and would meet Heart of Lions in the Round of 16 on April 6 in Kpando.

D’International also secured passage to the next round of the competition after edging Tema All Stars in their Round of 32 fixture played on Monday.

The game headed for the penalty lottery after finishing 3-3 in regulation time.

And the marathon kicks ended 12-11 for D’International, who would play Berekum Arsenals next on April 13 in Tema.

The Round of 16 fixtures begins on April 6.
