Dreams FC extended their unsubdued run in 2021 to seven matches after recording an exceptional away win against Eleven Wonders on Sunday.

Joseph Esso and Suleyman Fahadu scored in either half of the game to give Dreams FC  a 2-0 win at the Ohene Ameyaw park to move up to 6th place in the standings.

The Still Believe lads went into the game on the back of a five-match unbeaten run in the month of January and made their intentions clear right from the blast of the whistle. Striker Agyenim Boateng broke away on the right and sent in a cross to Michael Agbekpornu but the midfielder’s attempt missed target.

Captain Abdul Jalilu cleared out a goal bound shot on the line to prevent Wonders from going up in the 18th minute.

Sulemana Fahadu later delivered a long-range drive inside 23 minutes but missed the post by a whisker to keep the score at 0-0.

Inside the 30th minute, Issah Ibrahim went on a break and released a long pass meant for Agyenim Boateng but the former Nzema Kotoko man was flagged offside.

Joseph Esso finished off a solo run to find the back of the net to put the visitors ahead.

The first half ended 1-0 in favour of Dreams FC.

In the second half, Agyenim Boateng set up Esso with a headed pass but goalkeeper John Moosie pulled a superb save to keep Wonders in the game.

Fahadu scored his third successive goal in the League for Dreams FC with a thunderbolt to put the game beyond the reach of Eleven Wonders.

The win takes Dreams FC to 6th place on the log with 20 points.
