Emmnauel Osei gives Aduana stars narrow win against WAFA

Former Champions Aduana Stars on Sunday, returned to winning ways after posting a 1-0 win against WAFA at the Nana Agyemang Badu I park in Dormaa.

Striker Emmanuel Osei Baffuor’s second half strike was all they needed to pick the three points against the Academy boys in a difficult contest.

The win is first in three games for Aduana stars since their 1-0 victory against Asante Kotoko after drawing with Ebusua Dwarfs and Liberty Professionals.

The two sides looked sluggish in the opening half of the game. But the home side improved in the second half and scored through Osei Baffuor in the 52nd minute.

Aduana stars held on to record their fifth win of the season. The Dormaa lads have drawn six and lost two in the process.

Their next game is a trip to Dawu to play against Dreams FC. With WAFA set to host AshantiGold SC at Sogakope.
