New Edubiase's blushes were spared at the Gyamfi Park where they struggled to beat Tema Youth 1-0 on Sunday in the Glo Premier League.

Attacker Sakyi Quaye was on hand to rescue the home side when he scored the winner in the 85th minute after after Basit Adam's 76th minute penalty miss.

The game, which was delayed for close to 20 minutes after a heavy downpour recorded many hold ups especially in the second half.

Play was held up for over four minutes after players of Tema Youth protested against the penalty awarded Edubiase which was subsequently missed.
