Continental football debutants, New Edubiase are hopeful of progressing beyond the preliminary stage in the Confederation Cup this weekend.

The Ghanaian FA Cup holders with a slim 1-0 advantage from the first leg, have made the trip to Brazzaville where they face Diables Noirs of Congo.

Edubiase, who face a fight for survival against regular international campaigners, Diables Noirs will be without captain Asiedu Atobrah for the game on Sunday.

The midfielder has been hit with an indefinite ban after going AWOL.
