Ebusua Dwarfs returned to winning ways after posting a 2-1 win against AshantiGold SC at the Coast stadium to end their three-match winless run.

Dwarfs trainer Ernest Thompson Quartey ringed three changes in his starting lineup that held Aduana Stars to a 2-2 draw in Dormaa.

Ebusua Dwarfs broke the deadlock on the stroke of halftime as Dennis Nkrumah Korsah connected a George Asamoah pass to give them the lead.

Experienced front man Hans Kwofie drew them level after he beat the offside trap to put the ball behind Dwarfs goalkeeper Razak Mantey in the 75th minute.

The equaliser didn't last beyond two minutes as midfielder George Asamoah headed in a free-kick deliciously teed in by Simon Martey on the edge of the box to give the Dwarfs the second goal in the 77th minute.

Dwarfs travel to Accra to Inter Allies FC on match day 13 whilst AshantiGold host Liberty Professionals at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Sunday.
