Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs anticipates a tough test against Karela United in their bid to continue their winning run in the Ghana Premier League.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, February 14, at the Cape Coast stadium. Coach Ernest Thompson’s men have been brilliant in their last four outings with two draws and two wins picking 8 points from a possible 12.

The Crabs are unbeaten in five games since their 1-0 home loss to Asante Kotoko on January 20. A brave performance last week, earned them three points against Inter Allies in Accra to maintain their unbeaten run in the capital.

They sit in seventh place with 19 points, three adrift their visitors, Karela United FC who are one point behind leaders Asante Kotoko. Karela United had their hard-earned home invincibility deflated by Asante Kotoko in a 2-0 loss at the dreaded Ainyinase CAM park, their first home defeat since 2016.

On team update, Karela United will welcome captain Umar Bashiru and midfielder Sadiq Alhassan back into the team after missing last Sunday’s crunch duel against Asante Kotoko.

The game on Sunday will be the first meeting between Ebusua Dwarfs and Karela United in the Ghana Premier League.

Karela United have so far kept six clean sheets out of 13 games in the GPL since Sunday, November 15, when they made their debut in the Ghanaian top flight.
