Ebusua Dwarfs made headlines days ago following victories against Liberty Professionals and their Legon Cities in Accra.

The Cape Coast side also drew with Accra Great Olympics and recorded an audacious 2-2 draw against Aduana Stars at Dormaa. Ebusua Dwarfs return to Cape Coast on Wednesday as host of AshantiGold SC.

Dwarfs will be hoping to end their home winless run at home against the Miners as they eye their first win at home since beating Berekum Chelsea on in November 2020. They have lost twice and drawn one in their last three home matches.

On team updates, goalkeeper Danso Wiredu Mensah and striker Martin Tsiboah who missed the game against Aduana through injuries are expected to return for this game. While, midfielder Sumaila Moro is suspended after receiving a red card against Aduana stars last Sunday.

AshantiGold have conceded five and scored just two in their last three matches after two draws and one defeat against Medeama SC (0-0), Asante Kotoko (0-0) and the embarrassing 5-2 loss to Legon Cities FC.

The Obuasi lads have not won in Cape Coast since May 2012 and have managed to pick just one point from their last five visits to Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League.

Midfielder Appiah McCarthy remains on the side lines with a calf injury.
