Dreams FC hand King Faisal heavy defeat in Dawu

Football returned to the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday as hosts Dreams FC trounced Premier League returnees King Faisal 4-1.

Emmanuel Ocran scored a brace for Dreams FC with a goal each from Ibrahim Issah and Dantani Amadu while Lateef Mohammed getting a consolation goal for the Kumasi based side.

Dreams FC dominated the opening minutes of the game before the Premier League entrants grew into the game.

After some exciting end to end action, Emmanuel Ocran finished off a counter attack to shoot Dreams into the lead in the first half.

Dreams came into the second half with their foot on the pedal which resulted in Ocran’s second goal.

Ibrahim Issah scores Dreams third goal of the day before Lateef Mohammed pulled one back for King Faisal on the 77th minute.

Dreams were however not done yet as Dantani pulled a late strike to give his side an emphatic 4-1 win over King Faisal.

Brace hero Emmanuel Ocran was adjudged the best player of the match.

Dreams will travel to Techiman to face Eleven Wonders in their second match of the season while King Faisal host Ashantigold in Kumasi.
