Diawusie Taylor and Kwame Boateng scored within a thirteen minutes interval as Karela United FC beat Medeama SC to go two points clear at the top of Ghana Premier League with a sixth consecutive home win.

The Ayinasie based club won the game 2-0 to continue their flying start to the season as they proved their title ambitions after their impressive showing against the mauve and yellows in the Nzema derby.

The two sides sold an average game in the first sixty minutes but it was the home who lifted up their game and deservedly took the lead through Diawuse Taylor inside 62 minutes to take his season tally to nine.

Kwame Boateng added the second goal, thirteen minutes later to make sure the game was beyond the reach of Medeama SC.

The win keeps Karela top after eleven games into the season.
