Two big games involving four premiership sides will herald the start of the Round of 16 fixtures in the MTN FA Cup competition on Wednesday.

Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars, Heart of Lions and New Edubiase will all attempt to progress in the traditional Cup competition.

Asante Kotoko will be aiming to finish the season with at least something to savour as the FA Cup represents their surest title bet.

Their recent resurgence in the domestic league has seen them rise to third on the table but are 13 points adrift the top with eight games to go, the same as their opponents for tomorrow.

For the Porcupine Warriors, they are still in it but their chances of a title could be better served if they advance past the Round of 16.

Kotoko will face Aduana Stars in an all-premiership last 16 clash in the Cup competition at the Baba Yara Stadium. Kick off is at 16:30 GMT (4:30PM local time).

The one-off game is the first time both sides are meeting in an FA Cup fixture and the third battle between them this season after either side won their league games at home.

The other fixture between Heart of Lions and New Edubiase will kick off at the Kpando Park at 15:00 GMT (3:00PM local time).

Both sides who are competing for a top-four finish in the league would battle for a place in the last eight of the competition.
