Media companies interested in securing the broadcast rights of the FA Cup are been invited by the Ghana Football Association for a meeting on Thursday, November 18, at the FA's Secretariat.

A statement from the FA says the meeting would deliberate on the radio broadcast agreement, live television broadcast and the start date for the Cup competition.

The Ghana Football Association last month signed a GH¢3 million package for three seasons with telecommunication company, MTN to sponsor for the FA Cup as the competition was welcomed back on the football calendar for the first time since 2001.

The competition would receive an annual package of GH¢1 million of which GH¢900,000 would be in cash with products of the sponsor taking up the remaining sum.
