After Sunday’s defeat, Coach Abdul Karim’s side had a light recovery session on Monday and switched into full training on Tuesday at the Military Park in Niamey.

The training match which was played at the Fenifoot Training centre was to give the technical an opportunity to test their strategies for Saturday’s must-win game against the Burkinabe.

The test match ended 1-0 in favour of the Black Satellites with some of the players who didn’t start against Nigeria getting opportunities to play.

The team is expected to training on Thursday and on Friday before the match against Burkina Faso which will kick off at 5pm(4pm GMT) at the Stade General Seyni Kouantche in Niamey.
