Bashir Hayford is still waiting for his first win in charge of AshantiGold as an away defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday prolonged his winless run to three consecutive matches in the Glo Premier League.

The Miners lost 3-2 at the Robert Mensah Stadium to slip to seventh on the standings.

Dwarfs raced into a 2-0 lead by the 48th minute through a brace from Richard Gadze before Vincent Atinga pulled one back for AshantiGold in the 51st minute.

Nine minutes later, Eric Opoku restored the home side's two-zero lead but Francis Coffie was on hand to reduce the deficit which came too late to hand the Miners a point in Cape Coast.
