AshantiGold picked their second consecutive draw in the league following a good run of form lately.

The 10-man Miners drew 1-1 at the Tema Park against Tema Youth as striker Yakubu Mohammed, who scored the equaliser was sent off in the second half.

Isaac Amoah put Tema Youth in front in the 42nd minute to end the first half 1-0 up.

Yakubu drew AshantiGold level in the 50th minute before his dismissal nine minutes after the hour mark.

The Miners had won seven straight games before their perfect run was halted last Thursday by Berekum Chelsea in a 1-1 draw.
