Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan has finally completed his move to France by signing a four year deal with Rennes from Udinese in Italy.

Gyan, who will wear the 25 jersey, completed a deal today after the two clubs reached an agreement on his transfer fee.

The striker will join Black Stars stand-in captain John Mensah at the club.

"I am very happy to have signed this contract but my main objective is to play regular football in Europe," Gyan told KickoffGhana.com.

"The competition for places in my national team is also keen so when I can get more playing time here and achieve a lot it can also help my country."

The 22-year-old brushed aside concerns over his fitness as he has not played since the African Cup of Nations in January.

"I have been through the medicals successfully and I should start playing straight away," he said.

"I am fit enough and I am ready to do my best for Rennes."
