Derek Asamoah has become the second Ghana international to be signed on by French Ligue 1 side, OGC Nice.
Asamoah joins Nice from English fourth-division club Shrewsbury Town FC.
The 26-year-old has earned his surprise move to France's top flight after impressing on trial and has put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
Asamoah, whose career has been spent in England's lower leagues, scored ten goals in 39 games for Shrewsbury last season.
OGC Nice already have young Ghanaian defender, Yahaya Mohammed in their ranks.
The defender was signed on this season by the Lique 1 team.
