Striker Junior Agogo will return to match action sometime next season with injury ruling him out of the remainder of the season.

Agogo, who plays for Apollon Limassol in Cyprus is thus effectively out of contention for a place in Ghana's World Cup squad.

The 30-year-old Ghana international underwent surgery on his knee and will remain on the sidelines for six months.
