Yahaya Mohammed has scored in all but one home match for Aduana Stars in the ongoing Premier League season, netting five times and providing one assist in the ongoing League.

The 32-year-old is the most experienced and influential attacker in the Aduana Stars set up and always lead by example on the field. On Sunday, Yahaya will be expected to continue his impressive home run against Ebusua Dwarfs in a Ghana Premier League match day 11 game at the Nana Agyemang Badu I park at Dormaa.

The former champions are unbeaten in five home matches, picking three wins and two draws at home.

“We need not less than five new players to be considered title contenders in the league,” coach of Aduana Stars Samuel Fabin said ahead of Sunday’s encounter.

“For now, we are not [contenders]; we are just trying to find our rhythm. But definitely, we need to reinforce if we want to be counted as contenders for the league title,” the former Hearts of Oak coach concluded.

The two-time Champions last won the league title in 2017, and currently sit fourth in the table with 16 points.

The Dormaa lads head into their next fixture buoyed by that famous victory against Asante Kotoko, something Ebusua Dwarfs should be wary of.

The crabs sit in 13th place in the table with 12 points. They have been very impressive on the road in their last four outings with two wins (Legon Cities, Liberty Professionals), one loss (Dreams FC) and one draw (Great Olympics). Coach Ernest Thompson Quartey’s side have leaked 12 goals and scored 9 in the ongoing League.

The game is scheduled for 3pm kick off at the Nana Agyemang Badu I park at Dormaa.
