Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed scored yet again at the Agyemang Badu I park as the former League champions inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Legon Cities FC in Week 9 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

The two time Ghanaian champions had one thing on their mind as they went into the match with the aim of returning to winning ways following their 2-1 defeat at Medeama last week.

Yahaya Mohammed calmed the nerves of the home fans with a superb strike in the 21st minute.

The Ogya Boys held on to their slim lead until half time as Legon Cities FC drew level two minutes after the break through Francis Addo.

The Dormaa Park went dead silent after Addo’s goal but there was a bit of optimism amongst their sizable fans as their team continued to probe for the lead.

Fatawu Abdulrahman brought smiles back at the stadium when he nicked in range effort to give Aduana Stars back into the lead in the 49th minute.

Fatawu’s goal proved to be the winner as the host held on to record their third win of the season.
