A brace from Abass Mohammed gave Tema Youth a 2-0 win at the Tema Stadium over Berekum Arsenals to lift them out of the bottom ranks.

The attacker scored in either half of the penultimate first round match of the league and the result further worsens Arsenals' plight as they fight relegation yet again.

Abass gave Tema Youth the opener after 35 minutes and rounded a great afternoon when his second of the day came in the 80th minute.

Tema Youth have now moved to the 12th position ahead of the final games of the first round next weekend.

Arsenals, who are sitting a place above the bottom side play New Edubiase next as their survival battle continues at the Golden City Park.
