WAFA draws at home against Dreams FC

West Africa Football Academy ( WAFA) has been held to a 0-0 draw at home Dreams FC in their matchday 10, of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Red Bull Arena, Sogakope.

This is the fourth time the academy boys are drawing at home, picking three out of possible twelve points.

Atte Youssifou’s strike was wasteful as it hits the crossbar in just 4 minutes of play.

Dreams FC’s Yakubu Issah was yellow-carded in the 21st minute after he brought down Eric Asamany, which won WAFA a free-kick at the edge of the penalty box.

WAFA’s winger, Augustine Boakye was phenomenal at the flangs and created numerous chances but failed to register a goal, Dreams FC defensemen were sharp to clear their lines.

Both teams held on to each other, WAFA failed to make their home advantage count while Dreams FC strategically kept the scoreline 0-0 until the end of the 90 plus 5 minutes additional time.

Boakye Augustine of WAFA was adjudged NASCO man of the match.
