Bazooka FC gains play-off place

Bazooka FC will have the chance to play in the Division One League play-offs for a place in the premiership.

A protest by Bazooka against Samba FC over the use of player Prince Kwakye has been upheld by the Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee.

The ruling awarded Bazooka with three points and three goals while Samba forfeit the match and have been ducked three points and three goals.

Samba FC have also been fined GHC 500 of which 50% goes to Bazooka.

By the decision, Bazooka FC gains entry into Zone I of the promotion league which kicks off this weekend with the other two groups entering match-day-2 on Thursday having started last Saturday.

Dwarfs will be looking at improving on their winning start when they play Mine Stars at the Ohene Djan Stadium while Westham after an opening day loss would welcome Medeama to the Tema Park

Dwarfs vrs Mine Stars - Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra Westham vrs Medeama - Tema Park, Tema

A win for Mighty Jets could put them in a fine position of grabbing the premiership slot from Zone II.

Jets will be at the Robert Mensah Stadium where they clash with Tema Youth while Pure Joy battle FC Nania at the Sekondi Sports Stadium
