Wa All Stars opened a three-point lead at the top of the Premier League standings after beating Ebusua Dwarfs 1-0 at the Wa Stadium on Sunday.

Kofi Yeboah's second-half strike proved to be the difference between both teams after a goalless first half. The goal was the midfielder's second of the season for the home side.

And with Hearts of Oak failing to in Techiman where they could only draw, Wa All Stars will continue to enjoy the summit after seven rounds of games.

The Blues have been hugely impressive this season, raking up the points midway through the first round of the campaign.

The result, however sends Dwarfs bottom of the standings after Asante Kotoko won at home to lift themselves off the foot of the table.
