Aduana Stars returned to winning ways on Wednesday after posting a 2-1 win against Inter Allies on match day 16 of the Ghana Premier League at Dormaa.

The former League champions scored in either half to secure their first win in three games to climb up to third place on the League log.

Aduana Stars suffered two heavy defeats against Dreams FC and AshantiGold SC which saw them drop out of the top four. But the win on Wednesday has done them a lot of good.

Yahaya Mohammed scored the opener inside 44 minutes– his seventh goal of the season to end the first half.

An own goal by Emmanuel Adjetey in the 61st minute increased their lead before returnee Samuel Armah scored the consolation goal for Inter Allies.

The defeat leaves Inter Allies bottom, with 11 points with just one game to end the first round of the 2020/21 season.
