Former champions Hasaacas Ladies recovered from their stuttering start to demolish visiting LadyStrikers 9-0 in their Match Day 3 encounter honoured at the Essipon Stadium on Saturday.

The three-time Women's League champions had a bad start to the season with two losses but they made amends and poured their venom on LadyStrikers.

Four goals each from Milot Abena Pokuaa and Doris Boaduwaa and one from captain Janet Egyir enabled the gaint ladies of the west rise from their poor start of this season.

Pokuaa opened the floodgates in the 22nd minute with a well worked for goal and made it 2-0 nil in the 26th minute.

Boaduwaa scored the third  goal in the 34th minutes to end the first half 3-0.

Pokuaa, the former Under-17 Women's World Cup star who was  the on cloud nine got her third goal and the  fourth for the team in the 64th .

Hasaacas ladies looked too strong for Ladystrikers, showing them no mercy as Boaduwaa added to the goal tally with the fifth  and sixth in 73rd and 80th minutes.

Pokuaa was not done yet as she scored her fourth goal of the day and the seventh for her side with about eight minutes to the end.

As if on a revenge mission defender Janet Egyir also managed to get on the scoresheet with the eight goal pouncing on a loose ball from a poor save from the  goalkeeper of LadyStrikers, Beatrice Ntiwah.

Boaduwaa put the icing on the cake with the ninth goal from a deflection when stand-in captain for Ladystrikers Martha Gifty Amissah failed to clear the ball.

The last time Hasaacas recorded such a huge margin win was in season 2 of the competition when they defeated Ayoola by a similar scoreline.

Both Pokuaa and Boaduwaa were presented with a ball for scoring 4 goals each.

Pokuaa in addition, won the NASCO Player of the match for her goals and three assists.
