Assistant coach of Army Ladies, Sawyer Abane, says his side are tactically and psychologically prepared to overcome Police Ladies to clinch the Women's FA Cup crown on Saturday June 8, 2024.

Army Ladies will make it a hat-trick of wins over their counterpart if they manage to clinch the title at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon.

They triumphed over Police Ladies - winning both the home and away fixtures in the Malte Guinness Women's Premier League this season.

Coach Sawyer Abane says his team is prepared to see off Police Ladies today.

“Our Premier League season didn’t go as planned as everybody expected to finish in the top four flight despite winning the Super Cup league final against Hasaacas Ladies last season," Abane said at Friday's joint press conference

“My players are tactically and psychologically prepared and I know with teamwork we will lift our first ever FA Cup trophy come Saturday."

The 2023/24 Women’s FA Cup final between Police Ladies and Army Ladies will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday June 8,2024.

The match is scheduled for 16:00GMT (4pm) and will be broadcast live on MAX TV.
