The Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) will on Thursday embark on a massive cleanup exercise at Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Takoradi.

The clean-up exercise is the first of its kind in the region and it is aimed at igniting passion for the game of football.

A number of dignitaries have been lined up to take part in the exercise.

The Regional Football Association Chairman, Simon Ehomah and his Executive Council members will lead the exercise.

The WRFA shall also present foodstuffs to the children’s and maternity wards of the hospital.

Regional Minister Hon. Dr. Kobina Otchere-Darko, MCE, Hon. K.K Sam and other influential opinion leaders in the region are all expected to take part in the exercise.
