Western Regional Football Association kicks off Super Middle League Tuesday

The 2022/2023 Super Middle League of the Western Regional Football Association is scheduled to start from Tuesday, June 13 to Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Qualified clubs are hereby informed that the coordination meeting will take place at the Sekondi Gyandu Park at 4pm on Monday, June 11, to discuss relatable issues.

The Competition shall see the twelve qualified clubs zoned into four groups of three teams. Clubs that top their respective groups shall qualify for semi finals.

Winners of the semi finals would play the final to determine the club that would represent the region in the 2023/2024 National Division One League.

The group stage matches shall be played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, June 13,14&15, 2023.

The semi finals would be on Friday, June 16, 2023. Clubs that will qualify for the final will rest on the Saturday June 17, 2023 and get ready for the final the following day.

Out of the twelve qualified clubs, only five were participated in last season's Super Middle League, the remaining seven are all debutantes.

All the matches shall be played at Sekondi Gyandu Park, with the Esikado Astro Turf set aside as an alternative venue in case of heavy  rains.

All the matches would be streamed live on the Facebook page of the Western Regional Football Association.

The twelve qualified clubs are: 1. Aboi Young Stars FC 2. Fijai Soccer Academy 3. Team Move FC 4. Adjofuaman FC 5. Assikuma FC 6. Bis Paradise SC 7. Rospak FC 8. Dixcove FC 9. Apremdo Arsenals FC 10. Great Vision FC 11. Bekwaiman FC 12. Inchaban Royals FC
