The Premier League continues this Sunday with a derby game on the fixture list as match-day-8 is expected to hold out for some interesting matches.

For both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, the weekend's games is a build up to their eagerly awaited contest next Sunday.

But first, both sides have difficult opponents to deal with even before turning their sights to the league's biggest clash when the two sides meet in Kumasi.

Kotoko, who are just a point off the top would have no less an opponent than city rivals, King Faisal to battle with at the Baba Yara Stadium. Though Faisal are just a step above the bottom on four points, they are expected to rise to the occasion as they welcome their rivals.

At the Ohene Djan Stadium, Hearts of Oak still struggling for form would need to put in a descent display to convince their disgruntled supporters when they host All Stars.

Last season at the same venue, the Blues broke Phobian hearts when they stunned Hearts, then champions 2-1, a defeat which would still be fresh on the minds of the Accra side.

Leaders Kessben FC could be set to maintain their spot at the summit when they take on BA Stars at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

AshantiGold still trying to push closer to the top-four would be away to Heart of Lions, who are fourth on the table.

Champions Aduana Stars welcome Ebusua Dwarfs to the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.

At the Gyemfis Park, New Edubiase would battle joint-leaders Chelsea for the three points.

Mighty Jets, third from bottom would travel to the Golden City Park for the first time as they play Berekum Arsenals. Coach E.K Afranie's newcomers appear to be overcoming their difficult beginning to the season but will need to fight to withstand the Gunners.

Real Tamale United coach Telat Uzum has seen pressure mount on his shoulders since the start of the campaign and with his side coming up against Liberty Professionals at the Tamale Sports Stadium, supporters would expect him to win, which could possibly lift them off the bottom of the table depending on the other results after match-day-8.
