With leaders Accra Hearts of Oak facing fourteenth-placed Feyenoord Academy and high-flying AshantiGold hosting King Faisal an exciting weekend is in store as the premiership enters match-day-21.

Seven matches would come off starting Saturday while Asante Kotoko take time off the premiership to play their first CAF Champions League game on Saturday at the Len Clay stadium.

The weekend’s premiership schedule begins on Saturday in Tema where Tema Youth back from their mid-week defeat in Sunyani welcome Heart of Lions.

A win for Van Der Plyum’s side would see them move to the top spot on pegging with leaders, Hearts of Oak on points as they Phobians do not play until Sunday.

But for Tema Youth, another defeat could see drop from the eleventh position though they have a game in hand.

On Sunday, Accra Hearts of Oak after their second consecutive drawn game would be away at the Swedru park where they play Feyenoord Academy.

The Phobians have a game to spare but have seen their six point lead cut to a point by the second placed team while AshantiGold, who are presently third have a game in hand are two points shy of the leaders.

Hearts would need to win in Swedru to avoid losing their grip at the summit as relegation also stares at Feyenoord.

At the Ho sports stadium, Great Olympics after picking a point from Kpando in mid-week take on Gamba All Blacks.

The Len Clay stadium would see AshantiGold battling to stop an improving King Faisal side. Faisal ended the Miners’ unbeaten run in the first round of the premiership when they won at home.

Sekondi Hasaacas return to the Gyandu park where they welcome Berekum Arsenals.

Hasaacas would try to prevent a consecutive defeat at home after last losing 2-4 to Heart of Lions.

Bofoakwa Tano play Power FC at the Sunyani Coronation while bottom-placed, Real Tamale United welcome Liberty Professionals to the Kaladan park.

The game between Real Sportive and Asante Kotoko has been rescheduled due to the Porcupine Warriors’ participation the CAF Champions League competition this weekend.
