Wassaman opened their home campaign at the Tarkwa T&A Park with a derby win against Medeama on Sunday in the Glo Premier League.

The bottom side won 3-2 and the result lifts them to second from bottom.

Joseph Mugre opened the scoring but Louis Agyemang equalised for Medeama before the break.

Wassaman hit two second half goals through Yufa Zuga from the spot and Shaffiu Mumuni before Karim Abubakar scored a consolation for Medeama, who have lost 11 times this season.
