The WAFU B U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying tournament has confirmed the officiating team for the highly anticipated Group A clash between the Black Starlets and their Nigerien counterparts on Friday at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro.

Moroccan referee Mohammed El Baroudi has been appointed to take charge of the must-win encounter for the Black Starlets as they seek to book a place in the semi-finals. He will be assisted by Lamen Dofinte Adolphe from Burkina Faso as Assistant Referee 1 and Mifitahou Amidou of Togo as Assistant Referee 2.

The tournament organizers have also named Agathe Atachou from Côte d’Ivoire as the Match Commissioner for the game. The experienced officiating team is expected to ensure a fair and high-quality match between the two sides.

The Black Starlets go into the fixture knowing only victory over Niger will boost their chances of qualifying from Group A after earning just a single point from their opening two matches. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium.
