WAFA beat Aduana to move up FCP Premier League tab

WAFA SC have beaten Aduana Stars 2-1 in their First Capital Plus Premier League Week 11 match played at the Sogakope Park on Saturday.

The match which was the first of eight League matches to be played this weekend saw Martin Antwi and Bashir Umar score the two goals for the home side with Richard Arhin scoring for Aduana.

Martin Antwi got an early goal for WAFA in the second minute to give WAFA a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Aduana who are lying second on the League table, equalized in the 51st minute after Richard Arhin converted from the spot to take his personal goal tally to four.

WAFA were however poised to take all the maximum points as Bashiru Umar shot ahead again in the 63rd minute.

After a difficult start to the season, WAFA has now managed to move up the League log to third with just a point behind Aduana with other Week 11 matches to be played on Sunday.
