Vision FC beat Na God FC to keep hold of top spot in Zone Three

Vision FC continued their dominance in Zone Three with a 3-2 win over Na God FC on Matchday 23 of the Access Bank Division One League.

Mohammed Nikoi gave the home side an early lead in the 2nd minute but Habib Ganiu connected a spot kick to level matters for Vision FC in the 7th minute.

Patrick Mensah and Emmanuel Atta Frimpong scored in quick succession to give the leaders a commanding lead. Mensah netted in the 14th minute before Frimpong added the third in the 34th minute as Vision FC romped to a 3-1 lead at the break.

Benjamin Oduro reduced the deficit in the 84th minute but the visitors held on to win 3-2 at the Tema Park on Sunday.

At the theatre of Dreams - Attram De Visser pip Still Believe 1-0 to go 5th in the Zone three table. Precious Yaw Gyimah’s 61st minute goal won the game for the Accra based side.

Elsewhere, Koforidua Semper Fi suffered yet another home defeat as they crashed to a 2-1 loss to Hohoe United. Safianu Usman scored two vital goals in the 34th and 58th minutes of the game to give his side all the spoils on the road. Hohoe United are now second in the Zone three table with 41 points – 7 points behind leaders Vision FC who are on 48 points after 23 rounds of games.
