Vice-President of the Ghana Football Association, Mark Addo, paid a morale-boosting visit to the Black Satellites camp ahead of their clash with Senegal at the TotalEnergies U-20 AFCON Egypt 2025.

Mr. Addo assured the players of the full support of the Ghanaian people and conveyed warm greetings from the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams, and the President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kurt E.S Okraku.

He commended the team for their efforts in the opening match and urged them to maintain unity and determination as they aim for victory. “Your opening match was clearly a difficult one as the team from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) proved to be strong contenders. However, your performance was good and gives Ghanaians the belief that you can go far in this tournament. Stay together and fight to bring glory to Ghana,” he encouraged.

The visit comes at a crucial moment in the tournament, with Ghana hoping to secure a place in the quarterfinals and eventually qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025.
