The Upper West Regional Football Association has announced that its Ordinary Congress will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 at the Upland Hotel in Wa. The Congress, which is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m., will bring together key stakeholders of football in the region to deliberate on the state and progress of the game.

This year’s Congress will review activities from the 2024/25 football season while also setting the tone for the 2025/26 season.

Stakeholders are expected to discuss competitions, development programs, financial reports, and strategic plans for the year ahead. The event promises to provide a platform for dialogue and decision-making to strengthen grassroots and competitive football in the Upper West Region.

The session will be chaired by the Upper West Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Yahaya Sadugu, who will lead the discussions and present his vision for the coming season. The Congress marks a crucial step in ensuring transparency, accountability, and progress in football administration at the regional level.
