Two Ghana youth internationals Samuel Enzemaba and Seidu Yakubu began trials with Dutch side FC Groningen yesterday.

The 20-year-old Enzemaba, who plays for Premier League club Real Sportive, will be observed as a defender.

Yakubu, (19), who plays for Tema Youth, is versatile but will be at the trials as a midfielder.

According to the managing director of Groningen, Hans Nijland, the duo will be observed for two weeks before a decision is made on their future with the club.

They will train with the junior team of the club.

The players were spotted by Dutch scout Grads Fuhler who saw the pair in action for Ghana's under-20 side.

Groningen have been consistent in the Dutch top league over the past decade and are currently 7th in the country's top league.
