Winger Abigail Tutuwaa’s late goal was enough to give Prisons Ladies an all-important win over Supreme Ladies in Kumasi on Match day one of the 2019/20 Women’s Premier League.

A goal keeping blunder committed by Haruna Yasmin, of Supreme Ladies gave Ruth Anima of Prisons Ladies the urge to slot home the first goal in the 10th minute.

The second half saw both teams making some changes to their lineup where  Mintah Sarfowaa Linda of Supreme Ladies came in for Kubrah Abubakari  while Amoh Nancy of Prisons Ladies substituted Florence Adutwumwaa.

Atinbila Joyce’s surging runs exposed the defense of Prisons ladies on several occasions but couldn’t burry the numerous chances created but in the 87th minute Abigail Tutuwaa took advantage of another goalkeeping error to put the visitors in front.

In the end, Kulible Sarah, captain and defender for Supreme Ladies was named NASCO Woman of the Match.
