Three outstanding goalkeepers have been shortlisted for the Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the Month award for April/May following their remarkable shot-stopping displays, reflex saves, and consistent performances for their respective clubs.

The nominees for the prestigious award are Felix Kyei of Medeama SC, Eric Ofori Antwi of Berekum Chelsea, and Frank Boateng of Young Apostles FC.

Felix Kyei enjoyed a solid run for Medeama SC, recording three clean sheets in seven league matches during the period. Although he conceded nine goals — the highest among the nominees — his performances were instrumental in helping Medeama SC secure four wins, one draw, and just two defeats.

Eric Ofori Antwi was in exceptional form for Berekum Chelsea, keeping three clean sheets and conceding only three goals in six league appearances — the fewest goals conceded among the nominees. His outstanding saves, composure, and commanding presence between the posts played a crucial role in helping his side record five victories while suffering only one defeat.

Frank Boateng also impressed for Young Apostles FC, registering three clean sheets and conceding seven goals in seven league matches. His dependable performances helped his side secure four wins during the period, despite recording three defeats.

The winner of the Goalkeeper of the Month award will receive a special package from the Ex-Goalkeepers Union, comprising a branded towel, water bottles, and a T-shirt.
